Matchett Constructions is a bespoke residential construction company specilising is medium to high end new homes and renovations. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and culture. We are flexible in our approach to both work and our employees, we understand not everyones goals are the same, some people want a long weekend, others want 50+ hr weeks and other want to drop off and pick their kids up and we understand that.

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
• Relevant experience: Minimum 1-3 years' experience as a residential carpenter
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work from plans.
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

What we offer

We offer carpenters the opportunity to work on a variety of jobs from full remodels to custom new homes.

We give all carpenters the opportunity to progress through our ranks if thats what they choose, from carpenter all the way to supervisor if thats their end goal. We even help with cert 4 and builders applications.

We are flexible in our approach to both work and our employees, we offer 4 day weeks, 5 day weeks and 9 day working fortnights (week 1 Mon-Thrs, week 2 Mon- Firday). we understand not everything revolves aroud work and are more than accomodating to our employees.

As a Residential Carpenter with Matchett Constructions, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of high-quality residential carpentry. This full-time, permanent role is based in Toowoomba, Queensland, and you will be working as part of a close-knit team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
