Child and Family Practitioner | Family Intervention Service
Employment Term: 6-month contract | Part-time opportunity (53.2 hours per fortnight)
Location: Ipswich - Hybrid Working
Remuneration: From $49.28 per hour + 11.5% super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team
This position provides a holistic and therapeutic response to the needs of families and individuals, that are involved in the child protection system.
This includes intervention to support the reunification of children and/or young people to their biological family after spending time in out-of- home care placements or working with parents under and an Intervention with Parental Agreement case to work towards minimising the child protection worries so they can remain safe in the family home
This role is a home-based intervention and includes case management requirements as well as therapeutic intervention skills
Please note: Service delivery is between 8:30am- 4:36pm Monday to Friday
What makes a difference for us?
A Tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor Degree) in a relevant human services field with relevant experience in previous roles, and where relevant registration with a nationally recognised professional body is desirable
Demonstrated skills and sound knowledge gained through experience working with children and families
Qld Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
Be able to achieve results through personal proficiency and demonstrate high-quality technical or professional work
Experience in the area of child protection is preferred but not essential
Current Drivers Licence
