Family Counsellor - Townsville

Employment Term: Permanent Full-Time (76 hours per fortnight)

Location: Townsville

Remuneration: $97k + 11.5 % Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team

This position provides;

A holistic response to the needs of each individual in the family and to the family unit as a whole

Counselling and case management support to families, specifically targeting those with teenage children at risk of involvement with the Youth Justice System

Referral options to families, parents and young people and/or workshops as appropriate

What makes a difference for us?

Tertiary qualifications in a human services or related field and demonstrated skills and sound knowledge gained through substantial experience in working with children and families

Current Drivers Licence

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Sound knowledge of and demonstrated ability to utilise therapeutic processes and practices including the ability to analyse, evaluate and make objective judgments and recommendations
