About Our Client
Our client is a well-established, growing business that services long-standing clients across South East Queensland. Known for their commitment to service and quality, they are looking for an organised, detail focused Office Administrator / Accounts Officer to join their friendly, supportive team.
The Role
This is a varied position combining general office administration, accounts payable & receivable, and operational support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations, managing financial records, liaising with clients and suppliers, and keeping admin tasks on track with precision and care

Key Responsibilities:
Provide general office administration and operational support
Manage phone and email correspondence professionally
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to provide excellent service
Process invoices, payments, credits, and GST accurately
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations
Prepare monthly expense reports and financial statements
Support bookkeeping functions including BAS, PAYG, payroll
Issue invoices and credit notes; follow up on overdue payments
Maintain accurate records, databases, and inventory updates
What We’re Looking For:
Strong data entry and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly
Knowledge of accounts payable / receivable processes
Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time well
Prior experience in the construction industry (highly regarded but not essential)
Maintain accurate records, databases, and inventory updates
