About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join the finance team at Zizzo Insulation. This is a full-time role based in our Park Ridge, QLD office. As Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounts, from invoicing and accounts payable to financial reporting and reconciliations.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor invoices and customer payments

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts

Providing support to the Scheduling and Finance Manager as needed

Preparation of Payroll

Maintenance of Commercial Contracts

Preparation and maintenance of Credit Applications

Handling of Projects

Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounts officer or similar role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in the use of Xero

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred

Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable, but not necessary
