We’re now seeking an experienced Assistant Café Manager to help launch and lead operations at one of our exciting new venues opening soon.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position, perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Café Manager to:
Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service across all areas
Lead and support a new front-of-house team
Maintain high standards in food, coffee, and customer experience
Assist with stock management, compliance, and team training
Contribute to building a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture
You’ll play a key role in establishing this venue’s operational excellence and long-term success from day one.
This role includes occasional weekend work, balanced with a consistent roster and a strong focus on work-life wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a café or hospitality supervisory/management role
A proactive leader who communicates clearly and leads by example
Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage shifting priorities
Solid coffee knowledge and understanding of service standards
A calm, solutions-focused approach to challenges
