About the Role
We are currently recruiting for one Senior Procurement Advisor and two Procurement Officers on 6-month contracts, with an immediate start and a hybrid work model based in Parramatta.
These roles will support strategic procurement across high-value public sector projects. The Senior Procurement Advisor will operate at a leadership level—guiding sourcing strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving governance and compliance. The Procurement Officers will provide vital operational support, delivering procurement activities in accordance with policy and process standards. Both roles are essential to ensuring best practice procurement that delivers value for money and integrity.
Contract Details:
- Senior Procurement Advisor – $700–$800 + super
- Procurement Officers (x2) – $550–$650 + super
- Location: Hybrid (Parramatta-based)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities
Senior Procurement Advisor
- Develop and lead procurement strategies for complex, high-value projects
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape procurement planning and market engagement
- Guide risk assessments, probity planning, and value-for-money analysis
- Advise on tender evaluation methodology, negotiations, and contract finalisation
- Oversee supplier performance frameworks and ensure contract compliance
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on best practices
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to procurement policy development
Procurement Officers
- Coordinate and deliver operational procurement tasks across multiple categories
- Support the preparation and execution of tenders, sourcing plans, and contracts
- Ensure compliance with government procurement guidelines and documentation standards
- Conduct market research and assist with evaluation and supplier onboarding
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather procurement requirements and timelines
- Maintain procurement records and reporting tools for audit and governance needs
About You
- Demonstrated experience in public-sector or complex procurement environments
- Tertiary qualifications in business, procurement, commerce, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of government procurement legislation, probity, and compliance frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Proficiency in procurement systems, reporting tools, and contract documentation
- Must have valid Australian working rights (citizen, permanent resident, or long-term visa holder)

Senior Procurement Advisor
- Proven ability to lead large, complex procurement initiatives independently
- Experience engaging with senior executives and shaping strategic outcomes
- Sound knowledge of supplier performance management and contract governance
- Industry-recognised credentials such as MCIPS or a Diploma in Government (Procurement) are highly regarded
Procurement Officers
- Strong understanding of operational procurement processes
- Experience supporting tender evaluations, sourcing logistics, and documentation
- Ability to follow direction while contributing to team and organisational outcomes
