Astryx is a specialist procurement advisory firm that works with government clients across Australia. We are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Procurement Contractor with 5+ years of experience in Australian government procurement—particularly in the niche area of ICT procurement.

About the Role:

As a contractor with Astryx, you will support State and Federal Government clients with their end-to-end procurement activities. Working with Astryx you will have varied assignments that will span the ICT procurement spectrum including software, hardware, digital services, and complex technology solutions.

To be considered for this role, you must be comfortable working autonomously to deliver high-quality documentation and outcomes. Please detail the below abilities in your application:

Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in government procurement (Commonwealth or State/Territory) specifically the preparation and review of procurement documents including: approval documents, requests for quote, evaluation reports, work orders and purchase orders

Proven experience leading and managing procurement processes (e.g. ICT assets, systems integration providers, services consulting)

Strong working knowledge of CPRs and ability to learn and apply state-based procurement rules

Ability to prepare procurement documentation, undertake sourcing strategies, and support evaluation and client contract negotiation

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
