Procurement Officer | 6-month contract | Parramatta + WFH

• Parramatta, Sydney (Hybrid)
• $60–$70/hour + super (PAYG) or flat rate (ABN)
• Contract from 23/06/2025 to 19/12/2025 | 35 hours/week

A NSW Government department is seeking a Procurement Officer to support procurement initiatives across category management, policy, systems, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver procurement projects aligned with departmental accreditation requirements.
• Provide procurement advice to internal stakeholders across strategy, categories, suppliers, and continuous improvement.
• Support value-for-money outcomes and contribute to social and environmental objectives.
• Undertake procurement planning, engagement, and analysis to meet strategic needs.
• Prepare reports, communications, and submissions for senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement systems, tools, and data analytics to support best practice.
• Contribute to procurement projects and initiatives across different teams as needed.

About You:

• Solid experience in end-to-end procurement within a large or government environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement policy, governance, and systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Flexible and collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple procurement areas.
