• Senior Business Analyst role for leading NSW State Government Organisation
• Initial 6 month day rate contract with potential extension, paying $800 to $900 + Super per day based in Sydney with WFH flexibility
• Must have large scale digital transformation and HCD (Human Centred Design) experience with SAP and Service Now exposure being advantageous

Summary:

A leading NSW State Government client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in delivering complex, large-scale digital transformation projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre professional with strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of Human-Centred Design (HCD) principles, and experience with platforms such as SAP and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across large digital transformation initiatives
* Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and validate business requirements
* Apply Human-Centred Design methodologies to ensure user needs are central to all solutions
* Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements and user stories
* Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and design sprints to support solution design
* Work collaboratively with project managers, UX/UI designers, technical teams, and change specialists
* Document current and future state processes, and support gap analysis and business case development
* Provide support across SAP and ServiceNow-enabled business transformation

Key Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated experience in large-scale digital transformation projects
* Proven ability to apply Human-Centred Design principles in real-world settings
* Experience working with or on projects involving SAP and ServiceNow platforms
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a consultative approach
* Experience working within or alongside NSW Government departments or other public sector organisations highly desirable
* Proficiency in process modelling, requirements documentation, and agile delivery methodologies
