DC Smoke Alarms is a leading provider of smoke alarm compliance services, working with property professionals across Queensland to ensure homes meet legislation and safety standards.

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented administrative all-rounder to join our office team. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to take ownership of key operational tasks that keep our business running smoothly. Whether you’re experienced or someone eager to grow into the role, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound Phone Support
Professionally answer incoming calls and assist with smoke alarm enquiries, troubleshooting, and general service information.

Customer Resolution
Investigate issues, resolve client concerns, and escalate complex matters when required.

Inbox Management
Monitor multiple team inboxes and triage enquiries to the correct department or team member.

Quote Follow-Up
Call and email clients with outstanding quotes (14+ days), confirm their decision, and convert to bookings where possible.

Lead Conversion
Contact potential clients who’ve submitted website enquiries and assist in converting interest into confirmed jobs.

Scheduling Support
Provide assistance to the scheduling team during peak periods or staff absences.

Office & Uniform Supplies
Order and manage stock levels for uniforms, office supplies, and general stationery.

What We’re Looking For

Confident communicator with a polite and professional phone manner

Strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail

Proactive, reliable, and organised — thrives in a busy environment

Ability to learn quickly and work independently

Previous experience in a similar admin or customer service role is ideal, but not essential

Tech-savvy — confident navigating email, CRM tools, and phone systems
