Our client is head contractor in the residential and commercial construction space, employing approximately 40-50 people in Brisbane. They are seeking an Office Manager who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our the office. This position involves a diverse set of responsibilities, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The position will report into the senior team members and will include (but not limited to) the following duties:
Administration support – all office administrative duties from scheduling appointments to overseeing office supplies and planning companies activities – corporate and social.
Human Resources & recruitment – from supporting and coordinate employee professional development to onboarding newcomers to the company including the comprehensive induction process including the ordering of uniforms and more.
IT and Social Media - Keeping social media platforms up to date on a weekly basis – Instagram, Facebook, Linkedln etc. Updating the Website with support on a quarterly basis and liaise with IT support for any technical issues or equipment needs
Safety and Compliance - Helping the safety team with administration, assisting with the maintenance and updating of the Integrated Management System (IMS) along with the company Safety Manager). Ensure regular office safety audits are undertaken
It is anticipated you will possess the following skills and qualifications;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic human resources practices and procedures (desirable)
Experience working a construction business would be ideal, not essential.
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Social media skills and a good knowledge of OT would be beneficial.
Details:
On offer – salary from $80,000 - $95,000+Super (D.O.E)
Office hours – Monday – Friday; 8.30am – 5.00pm
No WFH offered.
Car parking available by the offices
