Title of Position: Office Manager

We are looking for an Office Manager to oversee the daily operations at our Toowoomba office.

Position: Permanent Full-Time
Salary: $80,000.00 per year plus superannuation

Skills required for the role:

- Organizational and communication skills

- Ability to react well to challenges

- Competence in computers and office-programs

Tasks of this role include but are not limited to:

- Plan, Control and Organise office systems and personnel

- Assist with the organisation of functions and resources of the office including but not limited to entering sales, purchases and other relevant office paperwork.

- Set office priorities, plan office standards and conducting review of office standards and recommend improvements

- Assist Transport Manager in allocating local deliveries and collections

- Delegate and assign work and monitor work performance of drivers, tradesmen and other administrative staff

- Manage office records and accounts

- Making sure all office supplies and equipment are looked after and maintained

- Liaising with accounts and transport manager to coordinate office business and help to resolve any problems.

- Plan and Coordinate personnel matters including but not limited to payroll, hiring and supervision, inductions and performance management

- Keeping up to date with the current government legislation, policies and procedures within the transport industry and make recommendations to director as and when required

- Working with the Compliance office to ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.

Experience required for the position of Office manager:

- At least 2 years’ experience in Office Managerial/Office Administration Role and in particular, in the transport industry desired

- Experience in the truck-driving industry desired
