THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $66,921 - $72,661 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction and Position Status: Full-Time 1.0 EFT, Fixed-Term contract of employment until December 2026.
Location: Chadstone campus - onsite parking and close proximity to public transport.
Brand, Marketing and Communications is a centralised, expert-driven function at Holmesglen, focused on maintaining the Institute’s leadership in vocational education and training, both in Australia and internationally. Our team is dynamic and collaborative, working across various functions, both internally and externally, to ensure a high standard of service and execution. Through our work in Brand, Digital Engagement, Communications, Events, and Design, we contribute significantly to the success of Holmesglen’s strategic goals.
In this dynamic role, you’ll help showcase Holmesglen as a top choice for higher education by connecting with schools, careers advisors, parents, and future students. You’ll plan and deliver targeted communication strategies, coordinate inspiring campus tours, and represent Holmesglen at schools, expos, and events. You'll also run engaging programs that bring the student experience to life and support key internal and external marketing events. ABOUT YOU
- Completion of a relevant degree with experience, or a lesser qualification with substantial relevant industry experience
- Current valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different schools and expo locations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability in both oral and written communication with a wide range of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully organise events including full event management, promotion and public relations.
- Strong sense on initiative to be able to work independently whilst maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders internal and external to the organisation.
- Proven relationship building and relationship management skills particular with key external stakeholders such as schools and with learners from a wide and diverse cohort.
- Responsive and organised in the ability to prioritise work and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to set up and pack down basic displays including pull up banners, iPad, tablecloths, brochures etc.
