About the role
This fulltime Account Manager position at Foodcare in the Sydney region is an exciting opportunity to build and maintain relationships with a wide portfolio of clients. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building a deep understanding of your client operations and decision making process. You will be maintaining current revenue and margins, whilst identifying opportunities for increased share of wallet within those customer sites.
What you'll be doing
Your typical day will be visiting food processing sites, meeting key contacts, and spending time in production to better understand client needs and requirements.
Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue and margin growth.
Identify opportunities for increased share of wallet within existing accounts.
Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a trusted advisor and resolving any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Maintain detailed records of account activity and provide regular reports on performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
What we're looking for
Experience in B2B sales and account management.
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels
Proven track record of account growth and revenue generation
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations
Proficient in using CRM systems and data analysis tools to track and report on account performance
