Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Treasury Operations Manager to lead their middle and back office treasury functions. Reporting to the Deputy CFO and managing two direct reports, this role will ensure operational excellence across multiple funding programs, robust risk controls, and compliance with government frameworks.

Sydney CBD location - 2 days WFH

Salary: $180k - $200k including super

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a high-performing treasury operations team across middle and back office functions.

Oversee transaction processing, settlements, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Supervise market risk analysis and compliance monitoring to uphold strong internal controls.

Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures aligned with best practice.

Manage stakeholder relationships including banks, program managers, auditors, and regulators.

Prepare and present treasury reports to executive management, Board, and committees.

What You Bring:

8-10+ years in corporate treasury, including 3-5+ years in a leadership role

Strong understanding of financial instruments, government funding, and loan operations

Expertise in treasury systems, cash management, and financial risk control

Proven ability to manage teams and build cross-functional relationships

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CFA or Master’s preferred)
