St Andrews Lutheran College is seeking an experienced and proactive Property and Facilities Manager to lead the strategic development and day-to-day operations of our physical infrastructure and assets. This is a full-time leadership role offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a vibrant educational community.

What you'll do:

Lead and manage the Facilities & Services team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Oversee preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with essential service requirements.

Contribute to the College Masterplan and provide strategic facilities advice.

Manage capital works projects and prepare cost-benefit proposals.

Develop and manage the annual facilities and grounds budget.

Implement a Security Management Plan and Waste Management Strategy.

Act as Fire Safety Adviser and ensure compliance with building safety regulations.

Manage contractor engagement and ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place.

What you’ll bring:

Extensive experience in facilities and asset management, including capital works and contractor oversight.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Project management knowledge and/or qualifications.

Working knowledge of QLD building codes, WH&S legislation, and Australian Standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in facilities management, construction, or relevant trades (highly regarded).

Building licence (desirable).

Experience in pool operations (desirable).

Current Driver’s Licence.

General Construction Induction White Card.

Current QLD Working with Children Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain).

Must meet all visa requirements for working in Australia.
