Remuneration: $55.40 - $65.37 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
WSLHD is funded under the NSW the Priority Populations Immunisation Program (PPIP), to develop and implement strategies to increase adult immunisation in under vaccinated communities. Implementation of the PPIP will be aligned with the NSW Immunisation Strategy 2024-2028 which aims to increase opportunistic vaccination within clinical services. The Public Health Unit has been nominated to lead the development and implementation of this PPIP project within the district, through the establishment of a designated PPIP project team.
As part of the PPIP, WSLHD plans to develop a District-wide immunisation strategy. Establishing a governance structure for immunisation across the district, will support integration of prevention through opportunistic immunisation at every point of patient contact with hospital-based and outpatient clinical services. The PPIP will also liaise with district community health services to support their immunisation goals and activities for improving immunisation coverage in priority or under-vaccinated population groups.
This Project Manager role will be responsible for project management activities necessary to support development and implementation of the PPIP.

Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in public health, health sciences or related discipline, and/or extensive work experience in these areas.
- Demonstrated project management experience in a health-based setting, with the ability to work autonomously across a range of activities.
- Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills with capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the ability to professionally maintain productive working and collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- High level analytical skills including ability to collect, analyse, interpret and report on complex data and information from numerous sources and incorporate into project plans, including the ability to use this information to develop, monitor and evaluate outcomes.
- High level interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated computer literacy to support project management requirements.
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
