ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Program Manager overseeing the leadership and management of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team at both our Wodonga site and Wangaratta satellite site. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior mental health clinician looking to prove their leadership capabilities. headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing (www.headspace.org.au).
This position manages the human and financial resources to deliver the strategic objectives and milestones for the headspace Centre in Albury Wodonga and satellite site in Wangaratta. Working closely with Consortium partners, the Manager will ensure the effective day-to-day management of the headspace Centres, including intake, caseload allocation and work-flow management, staff supervision, financial management, planning and reporting, partnership management and service development and will maintain compliance with the headspace National Trade Mark Licence Agreement and the headspace Model of Integrity Framework. An integral role that also facilitates integration between headspace and other Gateway Health programs to enhance seamless services to clients.

You will have a proven track record in creating a professional atmosphere by proactively leading and motivating teams within a diverse cultural environment. You can successfully monitor and manage performance to achieve business outcomes and key performance indicators to support positive outcomes for our clients.
To be successful in the role you will have
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Program Management ideally related to the Youth and/or Mental Health
- Proven track record of successfully managing program budgets, contracts, and reporting.
- Experience managing rural staff and clients and aligning organisation culture, program objectives, and team performance.
REMUNERATION
Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers & Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026
Classification – Managers and Administrative Officer Grade 6
This role requires travel between Gateway Health offices and other locations as necessary. To support this, employees will have access to the organisation’s fleet pool vehicles. In instances where a fleet vehicle is unavailable and an employee consents to use their personal vehicle, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the applicable Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) vehicle allowance provisions.
