Career Links is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager - Youth Services, to lead a dedicated team focused on empowering school leavers to achieve job readiness and sustainable employment.

About the Role

As the Program Manager - Youth Services, you will:

Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-impact, individualised support.

Manage daily operations to meet key program performance indicators and organisational goals.

Build strategic relationships with schools, local employers, service providers, and stakeholders.

Ensure contractual compliance and risk management across service delivery.

Monitor performance outcomes and implement improvement strategies where needed.

Support individuals from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds to become job-ready and secure long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day team operations and contract performance.

Develop and implement strategies to address performance shortfalls.

Ensure high standards of compliance, administration, and record-keeping.

Strengthen collaboration with schools, community partners and employment networks.

Drive outcomes aligned with organisational purpose and values.

Support non-vocational needs through coordinated referral pathways.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications (Preferred):

Degree in Management, Social Sciences, Youth Work, Community Services, Education or demonstrated skills and experience.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven leadership experience in the employment and education sector.

Demonstrated success in managing contract performance and team outcomes.

Experience supporting young people with complex barriers to employment.

Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Culturally sensitive approach with experience working across diverse communities.

Additional Requirements

Satisfactory Working with Children Check and National Police Check.

Current Driver’s Licence (essential).

Eligibility to work in Australia.

Commitment to a youth and child-safe environment.

Six-month probationary period applies.
