Position Title: EL1 Project Manager – Medicines Safety

Location: Brisbane/Canberra/Sydney

Contract duration: 12 months with posibility to get an extension for another 12 months.

This role is key to the delivery of high-impact projects aimed at enhancing medicines safety across Australia's healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and delivery of medicines safety projects.
• Manage a small team, ensuring high-quality results and smooth project execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and resolve any complex issues or risks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative frameworks and policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project team.
• Provide expert advice and leadership on project outcomes and medicines safety.

Your Profile

• Strong experience in project management, with a proven track record in delivering complex projects.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team effectively.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medicines safety or healthcare-related projects is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues.
• Ability to work autonomously, with broad direction and accountability.
• Active Baseline security clearance and National Police Check.
• Australian Citizenship is required for eligibility
