A progressive and people focused organisation in Sydney is looking to increase their activity and output in the AI and Automation space by bringing in a new Practice Lead / Lead Architect to lead the development of user-centric AI/ML/GenAI and Automation solutions.

The role will see you:

• Develop and implement AI/ML/GenAi/Automation strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
• Lead and mentor an internal team of AI/ML developers and engineers (locally and overseas), by setting best practices in terms of development and data science.
• Lead the delivery of advanced AI applications, with a strong focus on Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering agents, etc.).
• Architect and implement scalable GenAI systems—combining process automation, LLM orchestration, model integration, data pipelines, and secure APIs.
• Provide expert guidance on the design and development of AI, Generative AI and ML architectures and solutions.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Ideally you will come from a similar background, and have strong technical expertise with Generative AI, experience implementing scalable GenAI systems, combining process automation, LLM orchestration, model integration, data pipelines, and secure APIs, and ideally experience or confidence in leading a team of around 15 - 20 indirect reports.
