What You'll Do

• Govern development with quality assurance, automation, CI/CD practices, and secure coding principles.
• Estimate delivery timelines, resolve incidents swiftly, and lead risk mitigation efforts.
• Champion modern DevOps practices and encourage continuous improvement across the pipeline.

Your Technical Toolkit

• Languages & Frameworks: Java (J2EE, Spring), Angular, JavaScript, HTML, JSP, Hibernate.
• Architecture: UML, Object-Oriented Design, Domain Modelling.
• Cloud & Containers: AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Spring Boot.
• DevOps & Security: CI/CD, OWASP Top Ten, Web App Security.
• Database: Backend performance tuning and administration.
• Processes: Agile or Iterative SDLC methodologies.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of enterprise Java development experience, ideally in financial services or insurance.
• Proven leadership in delivering applications into production in regulated environments.
• The ability to mentor, make clear technical decisions, and influence without direct authority.
• Strong communication skills to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• A focus on outcomes. You balance quality, speed, and business impact.
