Hawksworth is currently on the lookout for an ERP Tribe Lead (S/4 HANA) to lead the ERP Tribe as part of a flagship global transformation initiative within the Financial Services sector.

This is a pivotal role responsible for aligning the ERP (S/4 HANA) scope with the Finance function, ensuring it is optimised and delivered within the program’s timelines and budget. You will work cross-functionally with Program Tribes, PMO, IT, Tech, and Finance teams—both locally and globally.

MUST HAVE:
This is a key position to help ensure they adopt the core ERP functionality while meeting local needs.

We’re looking for someone with either (ideally both):

• Experience delivering a subledger or GL implementation in the insurance sector, OR
• A strong background as a Financial Controller with experience in project delivery or change.

The successful candidate MUST have:

• An understanding of general insurances
• An understanding of financial process
• A candidate with practical hands-on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the ERP Tribe as part of a major Global S/4 HANA implementation
• Collaborate across Program Tribes, PMO, IT, and Finance to drive delivery outcomes
• Ensure the ERP solution meets Finance requirements, delivered on time and within budget
• Act as the key point of contact for Finance stakeholders, both local and central
• Represent the ERP Tribe in Steering Committees, Working Groups, and Project Forums

ERP-Specific Leadership:

• Provide leadership in finance and ERP domain knowledge, focusing on end-to-end finance processes
• Engage with the Global Program and Global ERP Tribe to align core architecture with Finance needs
• Design and drive ERP solutions tailored for Finance, optimising impact across functions
• Coordinate upstream and downstream communication across other Tribe Leads
• Anticipate and plan for resourcing requirements, including business case development
• Review and approve ERP test plans, results, and project documentation
• Oversee risk assessments and contribute to mitigation planning in partnership with Finance Risk & Compliance

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Host and lead Finance Project Forums and maintain structured, ongoing communication
• Manage interactions with Finance Leadership and Product Owners across project phases
• Continuously monitor and optimise ERP delivery outcomes in line with Finance strategy
