ILS has evolved over the last 18 years to be the largest retailer of Assistive Technology equipment in Australia. We have 60 showrooms and over 800+ team members located in the ACT, NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, and are continuing to expand our footprint.
We are currently seeking a Casual Administration Officer to join our supportive and growing National Work, Health and Safety team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a university student studying WHS, HR, health sciences, or a related field who is looking to gain hands-on experience while managing their study commitments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide administration support for injury management, including first contact with workers and ongoing check-ins
Assist in creating return-to-work plans and liaising with insurers
Upload and maintain documents in Safety Culture and WHS SharePoint systems
Assist with document control and ensure correct versioning and accessibility
Monitor training requirements, maintain training matrices, and upload training documentation
Facilitate the administration of our Safety Culture system (dashboards, templates, user setup)
Support WHS audits, inspections, and incident reporting
What We’re Looking For:
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
High level of organisation and the ability to prioritise tasks
Ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Previous WHS administration or injury management experience (preferred)
Familiarity with Safety Culture or other WHS platforms (highly desirable)
Proficiency in MS Office; SharePoint experience beneficial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Availability for approx. 16–20 hours per week – we’re flexible with uni timetables!
