A Growing Understanding is a certified NDIS service, and we pride ourselves on providing a fresh approach to the delivery of speech pathology care for children and their families. We provide centre-based services to children and families within the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated administrative professional to join our supportive team as Client Experience Officers (affectionately referred to as CEOs). Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and confident individual who is passionate about working with children and families and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Our Client Experience Officers (CEO's) are in Health Administration positions and play a huge role in the successful running of our clinic and they are valued accordingly. Our CEO's strive towards achieving our collective vision and are relied upon heavily by clients, families and speech pathologists. Our CEO's undertake reception and admin responsibilities, with the main focus of their role being to provide amazing experiences and care for our clients.

To attain a position on our CEO team, you must:
- be keen to learn;
- have good computer skills;
- be a great communicator;
- show initiative;
- be able to work under pressure;
- work well as part of a team.

Our service is open 7.30am-7pm Monday to Thursday, and 7.30am-1.30pm on Fridays. As a service, we don't work on Friday afternoons!

Your role will focus on providing excellent reception and support services for our wonderful clients and families. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

What You Need (Selection Criteria):

No prior experience is necessary, but we are looking for someone who:

Loves people and enjoys getting to know new people quickly

Shows initiative, and is always looking for things to do

Is flexible and organised

Thrives in a fast-paced work environment with a remarkable ability to multitask

Prides themselves on maintaining a clean environment and is willing to do the unappreciated, but necessary tasks such as cleaning, mopping floors and the dishes

Can work on their own, knowing that everything falls on them

Communicates well and possess a great phone manner, smiles when answering the phone, and always goes the extra mile to help out

Is well-educated and a quick learner, with great computer skills, and willing to learn our internal systems

Loves to work, is always willing to give 100% and actively participates in the success of the business

Has great integrity, is trustworthy and honest

Can follow direction and is happy to receive constructive feedback

Can effectively prioritise their time

Has a great sense of humour, and is passionate and motivated

Is competent in daily reception duties, and able to learn new things quickly

Is proficient with the use of English language, and has great communication skills both online and in-person
