About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists to join our high performing Clinical ICT Operations Team! We are recruiting a temporary (1 year) part-time (3 days per week) Administrative Officer. The successful candidate will be primarily working out of the corporate 1 Reserve Road office however we offer flexible working arrangements which includes up to one day per week working from home.
We operate more than 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW and conduct over 60 million tests per annum. Our network of pathologists are supported by scientists, technicians and support staff who quickly and accurately assess samples so clinical teams can make the best possible treatment decisions for patients. Our Forensic & Analytical Science Service provides independent, objective analysis to the NSW criminal and coronial justice system.

What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer provides effective administrative and office support services for Clinical ICT Operations whilst ensuring all tasks undertaken are managed in a timely manner. Clinical ICT Operations is currently supporting an organisation-wide digital transformation program called Fusion. It is anticipated that this position will be assigned to the Fusion program, supporting a number of projects, including the testing of the new state-wide Laboratory Information Management System.

- Proven computer literacy and strong keyboard skills with speed and accuracy, including use of digital transcription equipment.
- Proven experience working in a high workload and pressure area with successful track records to provide best performance as well as knowledge of clinical and corporate applications and work practices, and their relationship to other health care processes.
- Demonstrated ability and initiative to work both as part of a team and independently, supporting your team members and management, with sound knowledge of administrative procedures in health setting.
- Demonstrated strong customer focus and commitment to providing exceptional services to all clients (internal and external to the organistion).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong written and verbal English and be capable of professionally liaising and working with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation using different modes of communication in a technical and business context.
