About the role

Strathfield Golf Club is seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. This is a full-time role based in Strathfield, NSW 2135.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and financial reporting

Develop and implement strategies to increase bar revenue and profitability

Train, supervise and motivate a team of bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service

Ensure compliance with relevant liquor licensing laws and regulations

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bar area

Collaborate with the food and events teams to provide a seamless dining and entertainment experience for our members and guests

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and liquor licensing requirements

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Proficient in cash handling and financial reporting

Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
