Administrator - Drain Relining and Plumbing (Construction

Industry)

Position Overview:

We are a thriving family-run business with a decade of excellence, and are searching for a new Office

Manager. We seek an individual who will wholeheartedly embrace this role, taking ownership, demonstrating commitment, and reaping the well-deserved rewards of their efforts.

In this newly created position, the ideal candidate will oversee various administrative, accounts

payable receivable, and operational tasks to ensure our office's smooth functioning and support our

business's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle general office tasks, including vehicle management, stationery supplies, uniform stock

and distribution.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and chasing payment

using the job management platform and Xero. (Training provided).

• Handle the digital and manual creation, organisation, and filing of Safe Work Method

Statements (SWMS) documentation. (Training provided)

• Using the database of external partners and service providers, liaise regularly and build

relationships.

• Manage customer reviews and testimonials, addressing feedback and maintaining a positive

online presence. (Training provided)

• Conduct market research and monitor competitors in the industry to identify trends and

opportunities. (Training provided)

• Monitor our online performance to improve our visibility and marketing effectiveness. Work

closely with external agencies to enhance our results and develop strategies for business

growth when needed. (Training provided)

• Maintain the company's LinkedIn page to enhance professional networking.(Training provided)

• Arrange bi-annual team appraisals to promote professional development and

performance improvement and facilitate onboarding for new team members,

ensuring seamless integration.

• Respond to customer enquiries via email and phone, providing service information. (Training Provided).

• Manage IT, maintain and improve all hardware and software, ensuring productivity for

directors and yourself.

Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience in office management, ideally within the construction or related industry.

• Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, Xero experience or similar would be

favourably considered, (Trining can be provided).

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in software tools such as MS Office Suite.

• A proactive attitude, attention to detail and self-motivation.
