About the role

Working with both internal and external customers, you'll be a trusted validator who will ensure the built solution provides the expected outcomes to the customer through required testing phases. Success in the role is underpinned by strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and strong analytical capability to visualise positive & negative test cases that different users can encounter.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

• Contribute to the delivery of projects and play an active role in ensuring quality outcomes are delivered
• Meet with user groups and facilitate workshops to understand testing needs
• Create re-useable testing artefacts to encourage high quality delivery
• Establish relevant test policies, processes and procedures, and monitor compliance.
• Develop Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Reports for projects
• Undertake and coordinate System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Post Verification Testing
• Execute complex white box & black box functional, system & regression tests and document the overall results.
• Categorize, track & triage new & existing defects for resolution and coordinate with the development team for an effective resolution along with recommendation for future releases
• Provide subject matter knowledge on ServiceNow or other relevant Product capability for our customers during engagements.

About you

• 5+ years experience in a Senior Test Analyst / Test Lead role
• Experience working on ServiceNow platform, with strong knowledge across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD or LSD modules.
• Proven ability to develop, review and execute complex test cases based on the business requirements and experience using test management tools
• Ability to multi-task on multiple products / projects.
• Experience in defining industry best practice Defect Management process.
• Ability to deliver high quality test summary reports, and support customers during UAT.
• Proven ability to adapt and work under pressure in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines.
• Ability to provide accurate estimations for testing effort
• High level of written and oral communications skills, with a confident, personable and professional manner.
• Ability to mentor more junior testing analysts
• Industry certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow or ISTQB
