My client is a Government Agency currently going through an enterprise wide digital transformation across multiple sites. As a result they are looking to secure an accomplished Senior Tester/Lead to to take ownership of end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects, combining strategic test leadership with hands-on execution.

This hybrid role requires deep expertise in functional, regression, and integration testing, while also planning test cycles, and ensuring high-quality deliverables and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define overall test strategy, scope, and objectives for projects.
• Conduct test estimation and risk-based prioritization.
• Contribute to test documentation including test plans, test results, and traceability matrices.
• Analyse requirements, design test scenarios and test cases based on functional
• specifications and business needs.
• Execute test cases manually and/or through automation frameworks (if applicable).
• Conduct functional, regression, system integration, exploratory, and UAT support testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers and business teams to
• ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare test data.
• Assist in the configuration and testing of Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll,
• Recruiting, Talent
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - developers, BAs, product owners - to align QA
• efforts.
• Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA practices, tools, and processes.

Skills & Experience:

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with at least 1-2 years in a lead capacity.
• Strong experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Expertise in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Hands-on experience with Workday or similar enterprise system
• API testing experience
• Familiarity with accessibility, security, or usability testing.
