The Role

Our NSW Government Client is seeking a short-term contractor to support payroll testing activities as part of our UKG time and attendance system implementation. The system will integrate into SAP for payroll processing. This role will report directly to the project lead and work closely with HR, UKG implementation teams, and their payroll provider

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and document payroll testing scenarios, including time interpretation, penalties, allowances, and overtime.
• Validate compliance with applicable New South Wales public sector award conditions.
• Liaise with UKG and SAP stakeholders to clarify integration and mapping requirements.
• Identify, log, and follow up on testing defects and discrepancies.
• Support the project lead in meeting tight deadlines and quality standards

Required Experience

• Demonstrated experience in payroll testing, ideally across SAP and/or UKG
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and New South Wales government award conditions
• Experience working within public sector or government settings (preferred)
• Proactive self-starter with excellent initiative and communication skills
• Ability to independently document and troubleshoot testing scenarios
