The Employment Opportunity

A Site Management role on a single floor office fitout within a premium grade building in Melbourne's CBD. The role is to involve:

• Driving site activities to the construction programme and to budget.
• On-site and detailed coordination of trades.
• Quality control in all respects - code compliance, head contract compliance.
• Inductions of workers and plant.
• Safety walks and toolbox talks.
• Meticulous compliance with building management house rules and requirements.
• Building and maintaining a site and team culture of proactiveness.

A strong performance on this project will lead to consideration for a permanent role.

The Candidate

Consider applying if you fit the following:

• Either a relevant trade or tertiary qualification.
• Experience with fitout and/or refurbishment work exceeding $2M.
• Be well presented and be able to communicate well with not only subcontractors and trades, but consultants and clients.
• A demonstrated understanding of programmes, and the ability to prepare short-term programmes.
• Experience within premium grade office buildings is preferred.
• Experience in older buildings may be advantageous.
• A strong understanding of BMS systems and lighting control systems would be advantageous.
