Customer Service/Purchasing

The Business / The Position

SafetyQuip Wide Bay is a locally owned and operated franchise distributor of all categories of PPE, work wear, safety footwear and site safety equipment, operating largely in a B2B industrial distribution environment. We require an experienced and motivated purchasing coordinator / customer service to join our dynamic and industrious team. You will need to have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, an exceptional customer service ethos and be able to work both autonomously and within a diverse team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all aspects of purchasing and warehouse stock control.

Manage and coordinate goods receiving and backorder fulfillment.

Liaise with and assist the management team with a variety of tasks as required.

Provide back-up response to telephone enquiries to assist the customer service team.

Manage office administrative requirements.

Contribute to the customer service team by assisting internal and field customer service team members.

Maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude toward customers.

Liaise with product supplier representatives.

Previous Industrial Distribution and/or B2B experience is attractive but not essential.
