ROSTERING OFFICER
We are seeking an experienced Rostering Officer!
GLACIA Ltd is set in the idyllic landscape of the Mid North Coast, Forster/Tuncurry area. Where we have two Aged Care Facilities that need a Rostering expert!

About this role:
As the Rostering Officer, you will be supporting our two facilities by managing the rostering schedules. There will be an expectation across both sites to assist with scheduling and managing the permanent and casual staff availability and leave planning.
You will support the team across the two facilities by providing a client first approach, displaying exceptionally organised skills, adapting to change and executive level communication skills. These skills contribute to the smooth operation of our rostering system; you will do this in collaboration with the Senior Staff and Payroll.
Your responsibilities will be:
Manage roster to maintain operational efficiency and adherence to Care minute requirements
Prepare and release the fortnightly roster in line with the requirements of the Enterprise Agreement (EA)
Maintain the roster within the budget for hours and cost including consideration of occupancy and care minutes
Assist the Facilities Manager/s (FM) in ensuring the roster is managed cost-effectively, including managing overtime and agency use
Oversee shift replacement for sick, annual, and long service leave
Assist the FM with effective leave management and planning
Ensure the time and attendance system and employee timesheets are maintained daily
Complete employee timesheet reconciliation accurately for pay-end on a fortnightly basis
Do you possess these professional qualities:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Care Systems knowledge highly regarded
Proven experience in rostering, preferably in a healthcare shift setting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and report writing for corporate documentation
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organisation
High-level organisational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Experience in Aged Care preferred
Must have National Police Check
