Your Role, Your Impact
In this diverse and rewarding role, you will spend 0.6 of your time providing administrative support to the team, and 0.2 in the role of Allied Health Assistant. You will provide essential administrative support, manage appointments and scheduling, assist with billing, and contribute to group and individual therapy sessions. You’ll play a key role in customer engagement, enquiry management, and maintaining accurate documentation and compliance. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, contribute to service planning, and support program delivery will help ensure family-centred, goal-focused care. Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will have experience in both of these areas.
The key skills and experience we are seeking for the Administration Office include:
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology
Excellent customer service and client engagement abilities
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills
Organised, resilient, and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
Experience in health service administration (desirable)
Familiarity with medical software and data entry processes (desirable)
Awareness of the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
Understanding of the not-for-profit or community health sector (desirable)
The key skills and experience we are seeking for the Allied Health Assistant include:
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, along with a qualification in Early Childhood
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Strong understanding of child development and experience working with young children
Ability to build rapport with children and families in a respectful and supportive manner
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Highly organised with effective time management and administrative skills
