Are you passionate about working with young children and supporting their development? Join Each's Child Development and School Readiness Allied Health Teams!
At Each, our team of passionate children’s health experts supports families concerned about their child’s development, from 6 months to 7 years of age. We provide early intervention through speech pathology, occupational therapy, and dietetics, helping children build skills in areas such as communication, movement, eating, daily activities, and learning through play. Our team works closely with families, offering practical strategies that can be used at home to help children thrive. We pride ourselves on being family-centred, creating a warm and respectful environment where support is shaped around each child’s needs and what matters most to their caregivers.
Your role, your impact
As a key member of our paediatric Allied Health team, you will support therapy services for children, working closely with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other clinicians. Your role will combine hands-on group and individual support with essential administrative coordination.
This role involves:
Administrative Coordination: Maintain client records, support registration, manage waitlists, send appointment reminders, update clinical templates, and respond to enquiries across email, phone, and in person.
Group Therapy Support: Assist in planning, preparing, delivering, and following up on allied health-led group programs, including Parent-Child Mother Goose (PCMG) sessions. Provide hands-on support during sessions and feedback to clinicians.
Individual Client Support: Help implement therapy programs, conduct case history calls, support families with NDIS paperwork, and liaise with GPs and external providers under clinician supervision.
Clinical Resource Preparation: Create and maintain therapeutic resources using Microsoft Office and Boardmaker, and ensure therapy spaces and equipment are prepared and safe.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, training, supervision, and contribute to service improvement activities.
Cultural Sensitivity: Communicate respectfully and inclusively with all families, including those from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and culturally diverse backgrounds.
This position will work across both our Ringwood East and Ferntree Gully sites as required, and is ideal for someone with experience or education in early childhood development, strong IT and organisational skills, and a passion for supporting young children and their families.
