Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as a Receptionist + Allied Health Assistant. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, values customer service excellence, and is passionate about supporting healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

As a Receptionist + Allied Health Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients while also assisting our physiotherapists with various clinical support tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Allied Health Assistant Duties

Assisting physiotherapists for delivery of care.

Supporting patients with prescribed exercise programs.

Administering adjunct therapies such as shockwave treatment.

Setting up and cleaning equipment and treatment areas.

Maintaining clinical supplies and ensuring the treatment areas are stocked and tidy.

Reception Duties

Greeting patients and providing a warm, professional welcome.

Managing appointments using our practice management software.

Answering phone calls and responding to email inquiries promptly.

Processing payments and managing health insurance claims.

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications necessary - On the job training is available for both the AHA and Reception.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Customer service-oriented mindset.

Certificate in Allied Health Assistant is a bonus.

Demonstrated history instructing group fitness and/or customer service viewed favourably.
