We're seeking to expand our dedicated team of Patient Transport Officers to work primarily in our patient transport and event operations across metropolitan NSW, based out of our Revesby station.
About the role
Medical Edge Australia is recruiting Patient Transport Officers holding a minimum of a Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent qualifications for routine patient transport operations in metropolitan Sydney.
The Patient Transport Officer (PTO) routinely works with Registered Paramedics or Nurses to provide low and medium acuity transport for a range of patients with various needs. The PTO must have a sound understanding of clinical guidelines, licensing requirements and Medical Edge Australia policies and procedures.

The role is remunerated generously with super included on top of the hourly rate.
Skills and experience

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong customer focus. Applicants must be passionate about first aid and patient care, deliver consistently high standards of customer service to our clients and closely align with Medical Edge Australia's Vision, mission and values.
For consideration, applicants must have a Full Driver Licence and a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent. Applicants holding the Certificate IV in Healthcare or Diploma of Paramedic Science are also encouraged to apply.

Valid Employment Working with Children's Check
Police Check obtained within three months of applying
Proof of full immunisation history required for NEPT work including (but not limited to) Covid-19, current flu vaccine and Hep B.
Anticipated Interviews and Commencement Date
Evening group interview on 9th or 10th July (attend one only)
Induction will be held the week of 28th July
