About the role

Holdsworth is seeking a motivated and experienced Community Transport Officer (Driver) to join our team on a part-time basis in Woollahra, NSW. In this crucial role, you will provide essential transportation services to members of our local community, supporting their independence and access to essential services.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and maintain community transport vehicles to transport clients to and from appointments, social activities, and other destinations

Provide a friendly and caring service, assisting clients with boarding, alighting, and any other needs during the journey

Liaise with clients, carers, and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation schedules and requirements

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, licensing, and operational procedures

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our community transport services

What we're looking for

A current and valid NSW driver's licence (minimum of Class C or equivalent)

Proven experience in a similar community transport or passenger service role

Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for supporting elderly and disabled members of the community

Strong time management and organisational abilities to coordinate efficient transportation schedules

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance

Empathy, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
