Position Overview

Tullawon Health Service is seeking a dynamic Clinic Team Leader to lead and support our dedicated clinic team in delivering high-quality primary health care and after-hours emergency response services to the Yalata community. In this vital role, you will provide hands-on leadership and drive the development and implementation of effective management strategies, policies, and systems in line with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinic rostering, timesheets, attendance, equipment maintenance, and stock levels and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within budget.
  • Ensure all clinical activities meet relevant legislative, policy, and accreditation standards and prepare the team for audits and quality reviews.
  • Identify training needs, provide education sessions, and ensure all clinic staff meet mandatory training and competency requirements.
  • Capture, report, and follow up on incidents, complaints, risks, and progress through monthly reports and direct communication with supervisors.
  • Participate in providing primary health care services, emergency response, and support the team in achieving clinical and reporting targets.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, monitor medication storage, manage stock rotation, and maintain drug licensing requirements.
  • Implement and monitor cold chain processes, ensure vaccine quality standards, and educate staff on national guidelines.
  • Ensure infection control policies are followed, facilitate safe work environments, and educate staff on PPE use and immunisation compliance.
  • Lead WHS initiatives, manage hazards and incidents, ensure safe facilities and equipment, and support staff mental health and wellbeing.

Eligibility

  • This job opportunity is not a remote or work-from-home position; it requires the selected candidate to work on-site at the company's location.
  • Must be willing to relocate and live in the South Australian Aboriginal Community called Yalata.
