PT Office Manager for Dee Why (experience preferred)
An exciting opportunity to be part of our growing Podiatry clinics. We are looking for an Allied Health experienced part-time Office Manager to work in Dee Why and also cover one Saturday/month in our Mosman clinic.
The Job
The successful applicant will work closely with our Podiatrist to provide a high level of support within the team and excpetional service to our patients.
We run a busy, progressive and growing practice so you can be assured that no day is ever the same. This is a challenging position best suited to someone extremely efficient and capable of multi-tasking without getting flustered and will evolve with the role.
You will report directly to the practice manager and directors as part of our admin team and supporting the podiatrist.
You will be an integral memeber of the team, reliablity and punctuality is paramount.
Key Responsiblities
Your role will involve a strong administrative focus wthih will be task driven. You will be also be responsible for reception duties and will be required to deliver outstanding customer service to patients throughout the day.
Welcoming patients into the practice and creating 'the gold standard' of customer service
Dealing with all enquiries in a friendly and informative fashion
General reception duties including answering of calls, entering patient details and taking paymnets
Day to day managment of our Podiatrist schedules and electronic diaries
Administration support to Podiatrist and practice principals
Stock ordering and control
Liasing with third party payers
Chasing unpaid invoices and processing payments recieved
Banking duties including petty cash, daily reconcilation and depositing
Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports to governing bodies such as Services Australia and Third Party Aged Care Providers.
Stay informed about industry updates in podiatric care and administrative practices.
Reporting to Practice Manager and Director
Essential and Desirables Skills
Friendly, energetic and positive demeanor
Previous experience in office management is an advantage or able to show strong organisational skills and the ability to learn
Well presented with excellent communication skills and phone manner
Proficient with technology in a paperless office
A can do attitiude with high attention to detail
A good problem solver with the ability to identify areas for improvement, make suggestions and where needed implement change
Demonstrate initiative, organisation and time management
Prevoius knowledge of practice management software would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided

Start date:
Mid June however there is some flexibility on this start date if need
Hours:
Part-time: 3 shifts per week (in Dee Why) and one Saturday morning per month (in Mosman) with the ability to cover other shifts when required.
We prefer to employ staff that live locally.
