WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Providing technical expertise in field in Melbourne, guidance and support for the design, selection and implementation of air and water systems in a production environment.
• Working closely with the sales team, you will assist customers in understanding the functional features and benefits of the company’s products and services. This will extend to addressing technical enquiries and providing solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Using a strong project management approach, monitor and oversee concept development through to implementation and delivery on time and within budget. You will also ensure that adherence to relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance is achieved.
• Develop cost estimates for proposed solutions utilising modelling and simulation tools to optimise system performance and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports and presentations for internal teams and clients

WHAT QUALS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, (or similar), with around 3-5 years’ experience in applications engineering with a focus on air and water systems.
• We seek candidates who can demonstrate an understanding of air and water system dynamics, components and overall integration in a production environment (exposure to food and/or beverage manufacturing sectors is an advantage).
• Proficient in using CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
• Experience with sustainability practices and green technologies in air and water systems.
• Knowledge of IoT and smart technologies as applicable to air and water systems.
