Beachport Caravan Park is situated right on beach in the heart of Beachport on South Australia’s Limestone Coast. The team has a proud history of providing guests with an exceptional holiday experience with clean and well-appointed facilities and a strong focus on customer service. We are looking for a dedicated Caravan Park Manager or Management Couple to lead our team and uphold the values that make our park a memorable place for our guests.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a long term, affable Caravan Park Manager couple to oversee operations to ensure an enjoyable guest experience. Effective staff management and business development experience is essential, with preference for maintenance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services Management: Actively engage with park guests in a warm onsite presence. Manage with experience and competency all aspects of bookings, check-ins, and check-outs, enquiries, complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance: Uphold health and safety regulations, conduct safety audits, and implement risk management practices to ensure a secure environment for staff and guests.
After hours service: answer after hours phone enquires and guest maintenance issues, applying a practical mindset to problem solving, or coordinate specialist trades where appropriate.
Staff Supervision: manage all park staff, creating work schedules, conducting performance reviews, and foster adherence to park policies and high standards of service.
Facility Maintenance: Ensure the upkeep of park facilities, accommodations, and grounds, scheduling necessary repairs and maintenance activities.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the park, including communal areas and guest accommodations.
Community Engagement: Engage with local businesses and community events, building positive relationships to enhance guest experiences.
Recreational Activities Coordination: Organize and manage recreational activities and events, contributing to an enjoyable guest stay.
Resource Management: Efficiently manage park resources, including equipment, supplies, and inventory.
Environmental Stewardship: Advocate and practice sustainable environmental practices to minimize impact.
Reporting and Administration: Prepare reports on park operations, financial performance, and guest feedback, managing administrative tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Park Manager with maintenance experience
Experienced and effective Supervisory Skills
Affable and outgoing with caravan park guests
Proficient computer skills, preferably with RMS Cloud experience
Communication and Customer Service
Budgeting
Strong organisational and leadership skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills

Working hours:
The park manager is expected to live in the managers house and work anywhere from 35 to 60 hours a week, with the potential for more during peak tourist seasons or less in the off-season. There is flexibility in the number of hours required per week but at a minimum the manager would need to be available outside of standard working hours for emergencies and/or guest issues and on weekends.
Remuneration: competitive and reflective of experience. Total remuneration will reflect the number of hours worked and incorporate quarterly performance bonuses based on whole of park Key Performance Indicators.
