Victoria Park Social Club is a unique city venue located in historic Victoria Park offering relaxed dining and private functions.
We are looking for a Venue Manager to run both a la carte services and private events.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in growing customer relationships, a passion for food and drinks, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Enjoyment interacting with people - customers and staff - is a must. This role is very service oriented.
Great working conditions with an emphasis on a good work/life balance.
We are open 4 days a week Thursday to Sunday. No Split Shifts except at busy Christmas peak season.
We believe in a healthy work life balance for all of our staff with this role working 40 - 45 hours per week with a minimum of 2 full days off in a row.
Previous experience in restaurant & event management is a must.
Applicants will be responsible for the following;
Working closely with the Owner & Events Manager to deliver an excellent customer experience
Execution of restaurant service and special events
Staff Management including hiring, training, rostering and supervision
Meeting KPI targets
Compliance
Ensuring standards of service are being upheld by the FOH team
Leading the team in fast paced environment.
Sound understanding of the requirements for business growth and development
