Finance Assistant – Full-Time

Join a well-established and highly regarded company in the Commercial Property Investment and Development sector. Based in Melbourne CBD, we are a dynamic and growing business seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of accounting experience and a solid foundation in finance, who is eager to further develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Working closely with executive managers and reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will gain exposure to a wide range of financial activities across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and receivable functions

Maintain and update monthly cash flow budgets and forecasts

Prepare monthly NetSuite accounts for all entities

Perform month-end and bank reconciliations

Complete monthly credit card reconciliations

Prepare and lodge quarterly BAS

Assist with the annual financial audit

Provide general office administration support

Perform other duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

At least 1 year experience in a similar finance or accounting support role

A comprehensive understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (NetSuite experience is highly regarded)

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy

A flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities

High standards of ethics and confidentiality

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne CBD
