About the role
Nursing Australia, part of the Kanda group, is currently seeking a motivated Finance Officer to support key financial processes including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Working closely with the Finance Coordinator, you’ll play an integral role in delivering accurate and timely finance operations that support our national services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining up-to-date employee and client information in our systems
  • Weekly payroll processing and reporting using industry-specific software
  • Generating and sending accurate invoices (Accounts Receivable)
  • Managing debtor collections and associated reporting (Accounts Receivable)
  • Processing supplier invoices (Accounts Payable), ensuring correct coding and categorisation
  • Providing administrative support across the finance team
  • Assisting in meeting internal and external reporting deadlines


About You

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with payroll processing and timesheet validation
  • Solid understanding of general bookkeeping principles
  • Familiarity with Industrial Awards (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central (highly regarded)
