We are seeking a motivated Finance & Administration Assistant to support our CFO with daily finance tasks and ensure smooth operations across accounts and administration. If you have a background in accounting, experience with MYOB and Excel, and a positive, proactive approach, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Role Overview
You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records and support smooth business operations. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with bank reconciliations, preparing management reports, maintaining bookkeeping using MYOB, supporting budget monitoring, processing invoices and payments, managing our inventory platform and performing various administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and manage incoming and outgoing payments accurately and on time.
Financial Support: Assist the CFO with financial tasks including preparation of management reports.
Inventory Management: Support inventory tracking and reconciliation, including managing the inventory software system.
Administrative Duties: Handle filing, data entry, insurance documentation, and other adhoc tasks as required.
Excel & MYOB: Use Microsoft Excel and MYOB for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining financial records.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high-quality work.
Exceptional attention to detail in financial data entry and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MYOB accounting software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role is required.
