About the role

Meat Flour Wine is seeking for experienced and personable Section Waiters to join our vibrant and family-like team! As a Section Waiter, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our valued guests. There is options for both permanent part tme and full-time positions, offering competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment where stability of shifts is constant with the perks of earning great tips.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Taking orders, communicating with the pass, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and wine pairings
• Maintaining a clean and well-organised section, ensuring tables are set and cleared efficiently
• Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with side duties, such as stocking and restocking supplies and other day to day operations
• Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience as a Section Waiter in a restaurant setting with same or similar offering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Thorough knowledge of Italian food and beverage offerings, including wine pairing expertise
• Fluency in English and the ability to work well as part of a team
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering a memorable dining experience
• Experience on various POS systems
