A bit about the club:

One of Melbourne’s best kept secrets , Candela Nuevo is a private members club located in the CBD spanning across two levels and includes a restaurant , rooftop bar and cigar lounge , private event spaces , boardroom and meeting rooms .

By day the club is predominantly used by members as a corporate facility for board meetings, presentations, corporate lunches, or informal meeting space.

By night, the club transforms into a wine, cocktail, and cigar bar, where members can relax after a hard day, host a glamorous event, or book a private area.

The position.

We are looking to fill two positions, for afternoon/night operations:

FOH waiter/waitress full-time hours available for Tuesday to Saturday

About the role

The role will be focused on our Rooftop bar / Lounge area. There will also be an element of function and events work which will be quite varied between bar work, and cocktail style drinks service but mainly seated cocktail lounge service.

What we are looking for

Someone with a minimum of 3+ years experience in a high-end service setting.

Someone with experience in waiting to handle a section.

Someone who is available day or night (the club is closed Sunday and Monday so set days off)

Someone who can enhance the customers' experience with their exceptional customer service skills.

Someone who can work as part of a team and take on any task given to them.

Someone who enjoys the hospitality industry and is keen to learn.

Interest in whiskey, cigars, and wine

Someone who uses initiative and pays attention to detail.
